Follow-up consultations are a great way to A) establish an accountability partnership and support system with me, and B) help address action plans that may or may not have worked, and co-create alternative strategies that fit your lifestyle and comfort level. We will check in perhaps once or twice a month to troubleshoot areas you may be struggling with, and make adjustments. I will give you additional information, handouts or other necessary resources to support you, and answer questions as they arise.
These consultations are also available to you to plan specialized one-on-one education, such as breastfeeding basics and techniques, nutrition label reading, and more.
With so many things to think about and plan for your new arrival, relearning how to adopt healthy lifestyle habits specifically during pregnancy doesn't have to be hard. In fact, having a coach support and guide you can take the pressure off of you so you can concentrate on more important things.
During this consultation, we use this time to talk about your personal wellness needs for your pregnancy, goals, questions and concerns. This is essential for my understanding how I as your lifestyle coach and nutritionist can help you gain peace of mind and lay the groundwork for healthy lifestyle changes that will benefit you and your growing family! A doula is an incredible resource to have at your side throughout the latter part of your pregnancy and as a companion through your labor and birth. She is your advocate, and as an experienced birth professional, can ease you through each stage and decision that needs to be made along the way to help make your birth experience a positive, empowering one. Can be bundled with nutrition coaching, breastfeeding, and relaxation/pain management techniques.

Personal Assessment & Strategic Wellness Plan
Using prenatal health guidelines as well as your personal wellness goals as a baseline, this meeting is our first official chance to holistically assess and strategically co-create a roadmap for optimum wellness through your pregnancy. We will talk in depth about past health and lifestyle habits, general prenatal weight and nutritional milestones and how to meet them, and discuss behavioral patterns that may need help with altering.
You will also receive basic education, resources, and tools to help answer your questions and help you move forward in reaching holistic (mind, body and spirit) wellness goals. You will receive ongoing, targeted feedback from me on your weekly food journals, and support with meal planning, serving sizes, and nutritional intake status reports. This gives you an idea what’s working, what could use improvement, and narrow in on trouble spots you could use coaching support. We will discuss food and lifestyle habits to limit or avoid, healthy food preparation, grocery shopping and food labels, healthy snacking and meal planning, and healthy substitutions.
